Out of the Mouths of Babes vol. 11

Were you sitting there all day yesterday, regularly clicking the refresh button on your browser, waiting with anticipation for this week’s Out of the Mouths of Babes, only to find that it never appeared?

I thought not.

But for anyone who was, all I can say is, patience, my child. At least, that’s what I’m learning. Lately I’ve found that I have a hard time practicing that virtue. Recently, I made that point to my husband by saying, “I really need to get more patience.”

My 4-year-old overheard and, with an inquisitive look, asked: “Who are your patients?

So whether you need more patience or patients, I hope you get it (or them). In the meantime, I wish you a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend! Thank you to all those who gave the ultimate price in service of our country. And thank you to all those who continue to serve.

About Becky

I'm a mother of two boys and a little girl. I've been married to my husband Steve for over eight years. I'm a former pro-choice agnostic feminist who argued with cliches and sound bites. But truth is a powerful force that always wins... even against stubborn, opinionated heel-diggers like me. Now that I am a proud pro-life feminist rooted deep in my Catholic faith, I feel compelled to share the truth about love, marriage, family, and life with those who may still be walking that shaky line of moral relativism. In the meantime, when I'm not tripping over Legos or directing a child to the time-out corner, I am a freelance writer and speaker on issues regarding abortion, Natural Family Planning, chastity, marriage, family, and the dignity of life.
